Counts are page loads. A family that changes its answers counts once per page load, and nothing identifies a returning family, so one family can count again on a later visit.
Income and the Student Aid Index arrive as ranges, and net price and grants rounded to the nearest $1,000. Exact amounts never leave a family's browser.
Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track send nothing, so totals run slightly low.
Rows are deleted after two years. The CSV holds the anonymous rows for the selected dates, with page loads numbered 1, 2, 3 and so on.
